Several times a month, or even a week, I experience such all-encompassing emotional onslaughts of overwhelming, toxic negative feelings that my heartbeat quickens, my muscles tense up almost to the point of suffocation, all perspectives shrink to just a few cubic meters of space around me, and my thinking either halts or becomes tangled.
