Intuition of the Future and the Past / Tempus
Imaginativeness, Competitiveness, Introversion, Spontaneity, Malleability
Crisis, trends, changes, metamorphoses, deformations, damage, destruction, rebirth, foresight, risk, luck, adventures, speculations, provocations.Sometimes I suddenly feel a sense of alienation, a static deadness of the surrounding environment.
Often I feel my loneliness, opposing the whole world.
I have prolonged periods of bad, melancholy-depressive mood with indifferent apathy.
I'm skilled at making gloomy predictions.
Perhaps I am capable of something genius, but I don't know why - I generally don't know why I live.
At least once a week, the world seems mercilessly cold and harsh to me, devoid of warmth, and the future seems hopeless.
Prone to sad-melancholic mood with a touch of mild depression.
Sometimes, for moments, I lose contact with reality, stop feeling what's happening, although at that time I'm not thinking about anything else.
I am characterized by inner vision, fantasy, imagination, leading to fictional worlds without temporal and spatial boundaries.
Sometimes I lose control over the coordination and sequence of my movements.
Psyche Function: Forming expectant and pensive behavior.
Emotions: Fear.
Group Role: Reflector (echelon: 2)
Behavior: Waiting for the right time to act; escape from reality.
Time orientation: Future Continous in the Past.
Meditativeness.
The act of introducing oneself and the environment into an unbalanced, crisis state, blurring the certainty of the future.
The function responsible for foresight or anticipation, as well as the ability to wait for something inevitable to happen. This function involves not running, not fussing, not doing anything, but simply waiting for it to occur. In this state, there is no need to do anything; you just need to feel where everything is going and prepare. You know it will happen, you just need to slowly and calmly prepare for it. It is associated with the formation of complex, detailed internal images.
Why do people anticipate, and how did it arise? Suppose a person in the ancient world had to survive, and they lacked physical strength, claws, fangs, etc. How could they survive? By sensing impending danger (and feeling fear from it), they would either be paralyzed by fear, freezing and pretending they are not there so the predator passes by without noticing, or they would sense the predator approaching and run away. To prevent impending danger that they cannot overcome, they either need to make themselves invisible or leave entirely.
IEI: Evaluates current events with a view of a positive outcome. For them, the future should always be good. They calm people by painting a beautiful picture of the future. Believes and hopes, programs themselves for success. Despite anxiety, the positive prevails.
ILI: Has a good memory, recalls many similar mistakes made in such situations, and projects these situations from the past into the future, warning people not to repeat the mistakes of others. Is cautious. Careful, calculates everything. Critically expresses opinions. Sees flaws, points out shortcomings.
Introverted Ni: The best vision of forks (bifurcation points) in the flow of events, playing to maintain uncertainty and unpredictability of the past and future, with the goal of avoiding personal activity.
Extraverted Ni: The best vision of long-term trends, playing ahead of the curve, where the subject strives to accelerate and lead changes, breaking the current equilibrium and transforming the system into a fundamentally new state.
