Perceptual Orientation

The four distinct small groups within a category and their psychological implications for personality diagnostics.

Category's Small Groups

Conscientious

Group Description

Everyday life, objects, human-made products. Through purposeful processing and cultivation of the environment, the material world here gains greater diversity.

They prefer stability and regularity. Lack the ability to assess opportunities and prospects.

Appetitive

Group Description

Flesh, material bodies of living nature, sex and food, food chains.

They realize opportunities to achieve consumer prosperity here and now.

Group of Integrated Sensing

Austere

Group Description

Spirit, symbols, ideas. Imagination's products, initially disordered and multifaceted, are simplified by creative intuition to meet the demands of the leading rational function, making them comprehensible and accessible to social counterparts.

They selflessly build or preserve the future, disregarding the inconveniences of the present moment.

Phantasmagoric

Group Description

Fantasy, images of wild, unbounded imagination. In the case of Possibilities Intuition, imagination is static - a collection of unrelated fragments representing idea jumps, with the external world perceived as safe and encouraging exploratory activity. In the case of Temporal Intuition, there are frozen metamorphoses, often with a threatening undertone.

They are spontaneous and dislike regular work, don't appreciate what they already have, seek inspiration in novelty.
